To get started with creating your project on Buildtree, you need to provide some basic information about your collection, including naming your project, uploading a logo, and writing a description.
The first step is to complete the key details that define your project. These are the fields you need to complete:
Project Name: A unique name for your project that captures its essence.
Symbol Name: A short identifier (3 characters) that represents your project on the blockchain.
Project Category: Select the category that best describes your project (e.g., Art, Music, Photography).
Description: Write a brief description of your project, up to 500 characters. We suggest including details about your collection, vision, theme, or inspiration.
Supported formats: JPG, PNG, or GIF. Max size: 10 MB.
You can upload a custom cover for your project in three different formats: Square, Vertical, and Landscape. These covers will be used across various sections of Buildtree's platform, including the Explore page, your artist profile, and the Studio.
The square format is mandatory, while the vertical and landscape formats are optional. However, we highly recommend uploading all three formats to ensure your project looks its best across the platform. If a vertical or landscape cover is not uploaded, Buildtree will automatically crop the square cover to fit these formats as needed.
Your project cover will be visible on your drop page and the Explore page, so choose an image that best represents your art.
The description should be concise yet engaging, giving potential collectors a glimpse into your creative process.
Ensure your project name is unique to avoid any conflicts with existing collections.
