💸Withdraw Balance

Creators can withdraw the earnings generated from their projects directly from the smart contract to their wallets. Whether the earnings are from NFT sales or mint fees, funds remain in the smart contract until the creator initiates a withdrawal.

How to Withdraw Your Balance

1. Open Dashboard

   • Open your Buildtree dashboard to view your active projects.

2. Select the Project

   • Locate the project from which you want to withdraw funds and click on its card to open the project side panel.

1. Find the "Withdraw Balance" Button

   • Scroll down to the Project Earnings section in the project details view.

   • Click the "Withdraw Balance" button to initiate the withdrawal process.

• A pop-up message will ask you to confirm the Withdrawal of Funds.

• Sign the transaction in your wallet and pay the gas fees. A new pop-up window will notify you when the withdrawal is complete.

Alternatively, you can use the Project Options (the three dots menu on the project card) and select "Transfer to Wallet" for a quicker shortcut.

Key Points to Remember

• Funds Allocation:

  • If your project includes collaborators, the funds will automatically be split according to the percentages defined in the Collaborator Settings.

• Where Earnings Reside:

  • All project earnings remain securely in the smart contract until you decide to transfer them.

  • Only the project creator can withdraw the project balance.

  • Collaborators will receive their designated share of the earnings automatically when the creator completes the withdrawal process.

• Gas Fees:

  • Ensure your wallet has enough funds to pay the transaction fees required for the withdrawal.
