How to Get $Flow Tokens

Last updated 22 days ago

To mint, collect, or interact with projects on Buildtree using the Flow blockchain, you’ll need $FLOW tokens in your wallet. This guide will show you where and how to get them.

Where to Buy $FLOW

You can buy $FLOW through centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges, or directly from supported wallets.

Centralized Exchanges

You can use traditional platforms to buy $FLOW with fiat or other crypto. Popular options include:

  • Binance

  • Bybit

  • Coinbase

  • Kraken

More options listed at: https://www.flow.com/coin

Note: Availability may vary by region and platform.

Decentralized Exchanges

Prefer a non-custodial option? You can also get $FLOW through DEXs like:

  • IncrementFi

  • BloctoSwap

  • SushiSwap

This allows you to trade directly from your wallet without using a centralized service.

Wallets that Support Purchasing

Some wallets allow you to buy $FLOW directly using a card, bank transfer, or Apple/Google Pay. These include:

  • Flow Reference Wallet

  • Blocto

  • Dapper

  • NuFi

Bridging to FLOW (from ETH)

If you hold ETH and want to use it on Flow, you can bridge tokens using platforms like:

  • Celer Bridge

  • Axelar Bridge

When you bridge any token to Flow, a small amount of $FLOW is automatically deposited into your wallet to cover gas fees. You can use Relay to bridge and auto-swap any token into $FLOW in a single transaction.
