The Collaborators feature in Buildtree allows you to invite other creators to contribute to your project and share earnings. This is a great way to work together with other artists while ensuring transparency and fairness in revenue distribution.

How to Add Collaborators

Step 1: Access the Collaborators Section

Navigate to the Collaborators tab in your project settings.

Step 2: Add a Collaborator

  1. Collaborator's Wallet: enter the Wallet Address of the person or brand you’d like to add as a collaborator.

  2. Comment (Optional): Add a comment to identify your collaborator. It can be whatever you want, from name, nickname, role, etc.

  3. Revenue Share: Define the percentage of earnings the collaborator will receive.

  4. Click the Add Collaborator button.

  5. Share the Invitation Link: Buildtree will generate a unique invitation link for each collaborator. Share this link with the person you want to invite to your project. The recipient can view the project details and must connect their wallet to Buildtree to accept the invitation.

Managing Collaborators

Once collaborators are added, you can view and manage their details in a table:

  • Collaborator’s Wallet: Displays the wallet address of the collaborator.

  • Comment: Shows the name, role, or additional notes added.

  • % of Earnings: Indicates the share of revenue assigned to the collaborator.

  • Status: Tracks whether the invitation is Pending or Accepted.

Key Points to Remember

  • Invitations: Collaborators must accept their invitations using the provided link.

  • Revenue Splits: Ensure the total percentage of earnings does not exceed 100%.

  • Transparency: All collaborators can see their assigned percentage and any changes made.
