Below, you'll find answers to the most common questions about the Buildtree Grant Program, powered by Flow Blockchain. This resource is intended to help you understand the requirements, grant details, and how to move forward with your project.

1) What are the requirements to access the Buildtree Grant Program?

• Launch an NFT art project on Buildtree, deployed on the Flow blockchain.

• The collection must consist of exclusive, unminted artwork.

• The project must be created and launched before July 10th, 2025.

2) How is the 10,000 $FLOW grant distributed?

• The total grant program pool includes 10,000 $FLOW, shared evenly among the 20 selected artists.

• Each artist will receive 250 $FLOW upfront for creating and launching their project on Buildtree on the Flow blockchain.

• Another 250 $FLOW will be distributed as a reward based on the performance of the project. The specific conditions will be tailored to your project depending on the type of collection, supply, pricing, and other key aspects. This approach helps ensure fairness across all participants.

3) Do I have to pay any fees to use Buildtree?

• No. Buildtree is completely free to use. Artist retain 100% of their sales revenue — Buildtree takes no fees, and neither does Flow.

4) What kind of projects can I create?

• Artists are free to choose the theme and project type that best suits their style. The collection can be Series, Multi-Series, Open Edition, or Limited Edition.

• We recommend artists on Flow (an L2 blockchain) aim for collections with larger supply (100+ assets) and lower prices (between $5 to $30 USD per NFT), but this is just a suggestion.

5) Do all pieces in the collection need to follow a theme?

• We recommend that collections follow a cohesive concept or artistic direction, but it’s not mandatory.

6) Can I use pre-existing artwork?

• Yes, as long as it hasn’t been minted or sold before. The artwork must be exclusive and unminted.

7) Can I mint my artwork in another blockchain?

• No. For this grant, the collection must be deployed on the Flow blockchain.

8) What wallets are supported on Buildtree?

• You can check out all the wallets supported on Buildtree here. For this initiative, you can use any EVM-compatible wallets like MetaMask or Flow Wallet.

9) Can I get help planning and launching my project?

• Yes. Our team will help you define the best approach for your collection. You can also request a 1:1 demo to learn how to use the platform.

10) Will my project receive any marketing support?

• Projects will receive visibility through Buildtree's official channels. Artists can also be featured in our "Artist Spotlight" series.

• Some projects will be featured on the Buildtree booth at NFC Lisbon 2025.

• Flow may also provide additional marketing support (not guaranteed).
