Last updated 9 days ago

Smart Modules are a powerful feature in Buildtree that enables you to extend the functionality of your Web3 projects by adding modular, customizable capabilities without writing a single line of code.

These plug-and-play modules allow creators to build innovative and complex drops by activating additional features during the project creation process. Simple to use. Limitless creativity.

Why Use Smart Modules?

Smart Modules unlock new possibilities for creators:

  • Customization: They allow you to tailor your drop to your creative vision.

  • Composability: You can add the modules you need, stack functionalities together, and create layered project mechanics.

  • No Code: Each module is ready to use out of the box. Just toggle it on, configure the settings, and you’re set.

  • Innovation: Experiment with drop dynamics that were once only possible through custom development.

  • Modular Ecosystem: As Buildtree expands, new modules will continue to roll out, turning Buildtree into a perpetual, composable engine for on-chain creativity.

How to Enable Smart Modules

Smart Modules are available within the Project Creation flow. When building your project:

  1. Navigate to any section (e.g., Project Information, Date Settings, etc.).

  2. On the right-hand panel, click the Smart Modules tab.

  3. Browse available modules.

  4. Click "+" to enable a module.

Once enabled, a module’s configuration panel will appear in the relevant section of your project settings.

Deployment & Compatibility

You can activate multiple Smart Modules simultaneously unless noted otherwise.

Before deploying, review the Active Smart Modules summary in the Deployment section to ensure all modules are properly configured.

Conclusion

Smart Modules bring a new layer of creativity and composability to Web3 art creation. By stacking modular features, creators can break free from rigid drop formats and imagine new ways to build innovative drops.

Welcome to the next generation of Web3 art.
